Infiltration was one of the technological marvels of the world. It was the study of having an armoured automobile with a massive gun, as well as un armoured normal cars and trucks were becoming more popular and more people could afford them. The study of advanced ships was also happening at the time, people were making cruisers, and the ships were becoming stronger. They were also discovering military grade heavily armoured ships with massive guns and explosives, they called these ships the dreadnaught class. High powered rifles were being created, stronger and more accurate than the previous grade of guns. Soon these guns were being used throughout the world. The gas mask was invented by Garret A. Morgan which helped in the war, because people could go into poluted air places and not be harmed. The pop up toaster was created in 1919 and was invented by Charles Stite. It was a very marvelous piece of technology revolutionizing the bread industry
Fashion
The fashion in the 1910's were strange, the fact that the woman wore there hair up in turbans and buns would be strange to us now, but back then it was fashionable. The men wore suits, if they could afford them, and the woman wore dresses or long trenchcoat things. The zipper was invented by Gideon Sunback and that helped with a multitude of things. People could take off their coats quicker, and that was big back then.
Fads
Ballroom dances were actually very popular back then, and the women made there dresses up to there ankles! (which was alot back then.) The women needed to make there dressses higher because of the rising population of cars, and there dresses would get stuck on the accelerator and brake. Motorized camera was invented so the movie industry really strarted up then, movies were becoming more popular, and more were made. People would go for fun, entertainment and to relieve stress.
Crossword puzzles were invented by Aurthur Wynne, and they became very popular and people would do them in the newspaper and they are still done today.
